It was a neat little place with interesting history. Several small caves display the various tools and home goods used by the gypsies who used to inhabit the area. There were signs written in both Spanish and English explaining the history and providing information. It was in a hilly area so we had to walk up some slightly steep steps and there was an entrance fee (€5 I think).

The information isnt very specific about this place in particular, the signs which were meant to explain the site seem to be very generic. The entry fee is 5 euros, which isnt very expensive. Come only if you have spare time in granada

One October afternoon I explored the area around the museum and was impressed with the view of the city, the nearby Alhambra and the outlying mountains. From what I recall I was trekking towards a nearby cathedral, following the melodies of guitars and chatter. Dozens of weekend-goers are seated around the lookout point, providing an excellent panoramic scene. A restaurant is also nearby to buy beverages.

Unusual and very interesting! Definitely worth a visit - also for the spectacular view of the Alhambra! Needs a little TLC.

On the way up I admire the homes built into the rugged hillside, as well as the arrangement of furniture that is scattered around the winding trails surrounded by large bushels of cacti. Beautifully decrepit. Don't be surprised to hear some ¨ay primos¨ from some in the area, either.

Small but interesting museum focusing on the local ecosystem and the lives of the local gypsies centuries ago. Worth a visit for sure, but beware: access only via a long and steep path with many steps.
