  Pro's: the old lady is very nice and trys her best. its very close to the alhambra and the historic centrum.

  so don't go there, it's just a place of greed and cheap and lack of any human empathy and you can see that everywhere. oh, and my pregnant wife caught a bit of cold, cause the room was like a refrigerator, there was heating, but it was off and locked...

  the place looks far worse than in the photos. it's old and rusty. I booked a room 3 months before by phone and with CC. So I trusted the old lady that she'll give me and my wife a big room with street view. We changed from 8 to 3 nights 1 week before, because of the bad forecast, Idid that on the phone again, no issue. Then in fact we got a creepy small "room" in the back, facing a big and ugly wall. We said "ok, it's still a family business, at least it's clean and well located, let's support it and stay over." then the 2nd out of the 3 nights the lady simply told us that she was unhappy with the price we were paying, that it was meant for 8 nights (untrue, it was the one displayed on the website when we first booked, and it was clear that it was empty then). probably the pension got full unexpectedly and she was frustrated that she didnt get more of the situation. the dialogue was a weird one, it wasn't clear what she wanted in fact, she just wanted to express her greed and frustration. so we decided to leave the 3rd night and for little more money we found a luxurious apartment in Gran Via, with view at the Cathedral and bottle of wine on the house...just booked it the night before.

  But: if you're planning to go there by car the way to the hotel was difficult to find. Because you aren't realy allowed to drive in that street. The room was ok but there was mold on the wall... the heating was on the whole time and the heating was locked. The bathroom was very small and old. There was only 1 bathroom for 6 seperate rooms on the floor.

  Very conveniently located near plaza nueva. The rooms are nice and clean, with tasteful decor. Service is friendly and the front desk is manned 24 hours.
