  Not 5 star. More like 3 star. No parking, no hot food with room service.

  This hotel is apparently a 5 star property, but we beg to differ. Booking pretty much all our hotels through Expedia, we often get upgrades or complimentary stuff. We already had booked a suite at the hotel, so no room upgrade needed... and rather than getting a bottle of wine etc, as our welcome gift (which was not ready), we just wanted some bottles of water. Not only the front desk guy was rude when checking in (did not even bother to say hello, just "name and passport?"). When asked about bottles of water, he responds to my husband with "i don't know who you think you are...."

  Having worked in the service industry most of my life, I know the importance of delivering excellent service. It was a huge mistake to stay here while spending $400+/night.

  Fantastic hotel and very close to Alhambra Palace, although it needs some walk with different elevation, but the cleanliness and luxurious rooms are worth it.

  What I remember most was how good this place smells. This place is more cool than cozy and the staff while super friendly seemed a little behind the beat of service I would expect for the five star experience. While there is a pool, I found the water freezing cold. That's probably as good a summary as I can offer, all the right moves not quite perfect execution.

  Great location near entrance to the Alhambra. Very good breakfasts. A 5-star hotel. Love all the Eurostars.
